Burnside, starring Christopher Ellison as DCI Frank Burnside, originally screened in the United Kingdom in mid 2000 and in Australia one year later.

The six episodes that make up this series were billed as a spin-off from The Bill and featured new Burnside sidekicks DS Dave Summers (Justin Pierre) and DC Sam Phillips (Zoe Eeles).

During the Australian screening of Burnside (ABC TV), our Agent-with-the-mostest, Avon, wrote 'reviews' for each episode.

According to a spokesperson for Pearson Television, the producers, no further episodes of Burnside will be made.
